Rhacodactylus trachyrhynchus trachyrhynchus          Rhacodactylus trachyrhynchus trachycephalus
Feeding Habits:  Like all Rhacodactylus geckos, R. trachyrhynchus is an omnivore. Its diet consists mainly of insects, fruit, nectar and possibly small lizards, nestling birds and small nestling rodents.
         
Status:  The Rough-snouted gecko (Rhacodactylus trachyrhynchus) is considered to be vulnerable to extinction due to disappearing habitat and is being considered for protected status by CITES.
